Governor Vargas worried about his political future, decides to clean his image and negotiates a billionaire secret agreement with the owners of the TV Corporation. Carlos Rojo, an ambitious young news producer, and Ricardo Diaz, TV network star reporter, are responsible for making a dirty campaign to change the image the public has of the corrupt Governor and make him, at any cost, a political star and a great presidential candidate. 相比《倒扣的王牌》或者《成功的滋味》这些同样关于新闻伦理的电影，这部电影把格局做的更大，到了媒体操控政治的高度，这样荒诞的故事放在墨西哥的环境下，还好像是写实一样，就是稍微拖沓了一点

一部批判墨西哥社会的电影套用墨西哥同学的一句话【在墨西哥媒体就是这样通过一个又一个的谎言掩盖前面的谎言】虽然中国的媒体可能也是这样但这种电影在中国别说拍了剧本能不能通过审核还是个问题

墨西哥院线第一看# 没有查数据，但凭感觉来说在墨西哥叫好叫座。句句直戳政治与媒体现实，不禁感叹这样的电影在国内不会拍、也不会上。充满了夸张和戏谑，但又哀伤地觉得墨人擅长自我麻醉，笑过恨过之后日子依然继续。
